What is Standard Education?
Standard Education is a data analytics platform purpose-built for K-12 school districts. It brings together student data from across your district into a single, unified view—connecting to your existing student information system (SIS) and assessment tools so you can see the complete picture of each student's academic, behavioral, and attendance patterns.
Instead of logging into five different systems and manually pulling data into spreadsheets, you get interactive dashboards that show you what's happening in your schools in real time. Whether you're tracking district-wide trends, monitoring a single school, or reviewing an individual student's whole-child profile, Standard Education gives you the insights you need to support every student.

Each user role in Standard Education has access to data appropriate to their position and responsibilities. A teacher, for example, sees only their own classroom data, while a district administrator can view district-wide information. This role-based access keeps data secure and ensures everyone sees what they need to do their job effectively.
How Data Gets Into Standard Education
From Your SIS
Your district's IT team sets up a secure nightly data connection from your student information system (PowerSchool, Skyward, Infinite Campus, or another supported platform). Each night, Standard Education pulls the latest student records, enrollment data, demographics, and grades. This happens automatically—no manual uploads required.
From Teachers (Screening Data)
Teachers enter behavioral screening data directly into Standard Education using simple forms. When you complete an SRSS screening for a student, that information is immediately available in the student's profile and shows up in your dashboards.
From Assessment Platforms
Results from external assessment tools may flow into Standard Education through automated feeds or regular file uploads, depending on your district's setup. Your implementation team will explain which assessment data you're currently syncing.

Key Terms
SIS (Student Information System) - The system your district uses to manage student records, including enrollment, demographics, grades, and attendance. Examples include PowerSchool, Skyward, and Infinite Campus.
MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) - A framework for providing targeted support to students based on their level of need. Tier 1 is universal support for all students, Tier 2 is targeted support for students showing early signs of need, and Tier 3 is intensive support for students with significant challenges.
