Getting Started
Logging In
Email and Password
To sign in with your email address and password:
- Navigate to your district's Standard Education portal URL (your administrator will provide this)
- Enter the email address associated with your account
- Enter your password
- Click Sign In
If you've forgotten your password, click Forgot your password? on the login page. You'll receive an email with instructions to reset it.
First-Time Users
When you're first added to Standard Education, you'll receive an invitation email with a link to set your password. Click the link in the email to create your account and choose a password.
Google Sign-On
If your district uses Google Workspace, you can sign in using your Google account:
- On the login page, click Sign in with Google
- Select or enter your district Google account
- You'll be automatically redirected back to Standard Education
Google sign-on is only available if your district has enabled it. Not all districts use this option. Make sure you're using your district Google account, not a personal one.
SAML Single Sign-On (SSO)
Some districts use SAML-based SSO for streamlined access through identity providers like Okta, Azure AD, ClassLink, or Clever.
If your district uses SSO, you may be able to:
- Access Standard Education directly from your district's app launcher or portal
- See a Sign in with SSO button on the login page
Your district IT team handles SSO setup. If you experience issues with SSO sign-in, contact your IT department.
Session and Security
Your session remains active while you use the platform. If you're inactive for an extended period, you may be automatically signed out and will need to sign in again.
For security on shared or public computers, always sign out when you're finished using Standard Education.
Troubleshooting
Can't find your login URL? Contact your district administrator or Standard Education representative for your portal URL.
Didn't receive an invitation email? Check your spam or junk folder first. If the invitation isn't there, ask your administrator to resend it.
Google sign-in not working? Ensure you're using your district Google account, not a personal one. If problems persist, contact your district IT team.
Having trouble with SSO? SSO configuration is managed by your district IT team. Reach out to them for assistance with sign-in problems.
Your district's Standard Education representative handles user account setup and access management. If you need a new account, have been locked out, or have other access issues, contact them directly.
