How Dashboards Are Organized

Overview

Standard Education organizes dashboards by access level and topic area. This article explains how the system is structured so you know what to expect when you log in.

Dashboard Tiers

Every dashboard belongs to one of three access tiers:

District-Level Dashboards

Show data across all schools in your district. Used by district leadership, central office staff, and district administrators. Examples include Chronic Absences (District), District Demographics, and SRSS Scores (district-wide).

School-Level Dashboards

Show data for a single school. Used by building administrators, school counselors, and school-level staff. May require selecting a school from a dropdown filter. Examples include School Demographics and school-specific attendance views.

Teacher-Level Dashboards

Show data for a specific teacher's students. Used by classroom teachers. Automatically scoped to the teacher's assigned students. Examples include Teacher Dashboard and classroom-level screening views.

Dashboard Categories

Dashboards are grouped by topic:

• Attendance — Chronic absence monitoring, attendance tiers, student-level attendance detail
• Demographics — Enrollment breakdowns by race, gender, grade, SWD, and other demographics
• Academic — Grades, transcripts, state assessments, MAP Growth scores
• Behavior — Behavior referrals and incident tracking (where available)
• SRSS — Student Risk Screening Scale results and status
• Student — Individual student profiles and search

Not every district has every category. Your dashboards reflect the data your district has configured with Standard Education.

What Determines Your View

Three things control what you see when you log in:

1. Your role — District admins see all tiers. School-level users see school and teacher dashboards. Teachers see classroom data.
2. Your district's data — Dashboards only appear if the underlying data has been configured
3. Your school assignment — School-level users see data for their assigned school(s)

Requesting Changes

If you need a dashboard that doesn't exist, or want to modify what a dashboard shows, talk to your Standard Education representative. Dashboard configurations can be customized to your district's needs.
