Supported Integrations

Overview

Standard Education connects to the systems your district already uses. Data flows automatically through nightly integrations, so your dashboards stay current without manual data entry.

Rather than asking you to manually enter student information or assessment results, Standard Education pulls data directly from your existing platforms. This means your district maintains a single source of truth, and your data is always up to date in Standard Education.

Student Information Systems (SIS)

Your SIS is the central hub for student demographic data, enrollment, attendance, grades, and transcripts. Standard Education integrates with the most widely used SIS platforms in K-12 education:

• PowerSchool - comprehensive student management and scheduling
• Skyward - student information and financial systems
• Infinite Campus - unified student information platform

Other SIS platforms may be supported through custom integration. If your district uses a different student information system, contact your Standard Education representative to discuss options.

Assessment and Screening Data

Standard Education supports data from assessment and screening tools that help you understand student strengths, risks, and developmental progress:

• SRSS (Student Risk Screening Scale) - built-in screening tool managed directly in Standard Education for identifying students at risk for emotional or behavioral challenges
• NWEA MAP Growth - assessment data imported from NWEA to track academic growth in reading, language arts, and mathematics
• ASQ-SE-2 (Ages and Stages Questionnaire: Social-Emotional) - early childhood screening data for social-emotional development
• SDQ (Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire) - behavioral and emotional screening data
• FOCUS - adaptive self-report screener for middle and high school students to assess social-emotional well-being

Additional assessment platforms may be supported through data import. If your district uses assessment tools not listed here, contact your Standard Education representative to explore integration options.

How Integrations Work

SIS Data Transfers

Student information from your SIS is transferred to Standard Education through automated nightly file transfers using SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol). Your IT team sets up the initial connection with guidance from our Standard Education specialists.

Once connected, data refreshes automatically each night without any ongoing manual work. This ensures your dashboards reflect the most current student roster, enrollment changes, and demographic information.

Assessment Data Imports

Assessment data flows into Standard Education through one of several methods, depending on the assessment platform:

• Direct file uploads - your district uploads assessment files directly into Standard Education
• Automated feeds - assessment platforms send data automatically to Standard Education on a scheduled basis
• Built-in screening tools - some assessments like SRSS are managed directly within Standard Education

Setting Up a New Integration

Integration setup is a collaborative process between your district and Standard Education:

1. Initial coordination - your Standard Education representative works with your IT team to understand your data needs and technical environment
2. Configuration - we define which data fields to include in the transfer and set up the technical connection
3. Testing and validation - the initial data load is validated to ensure accuracy before going live
4. Go-live - once validated, data transfers begin on schedule

Setup timelines vary by integration complexity. Most SIS connections are operational within a few weeks. Assessment platform integrations may have different timelines depending on the data source and technical requirements.
