Assessments / SRSS-IE
Implementation Timeline
Overview
Standard Education can have SRSS-IE set up and ready for teachers in about two weeks from the day we receive a complete roster file. This page lays out the sequence so you can plan backward from the date you want teachers to start screening.
The Five Steps
| Step | What happens | Who does it |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Prepare and upload the roster file | District |
| 2 | Teacher screening links are generated and returned | Standard Education |
| 3 | Teachers are emailed their screening link | District IT office |
| 4 | Teachers complete the screening | Teachers |
| 5 | Administrators monitor completion and review results | District |
Planning Backward
Setup runs about two weeks from a complete roster file to teacher links in hand. Steps 1 and 2 are the fixed part of the schedule; steps 3 through 5 run on whatever screening window your district sets.
- Two weeks before your screening window opens — send us your roster file. See Prepare and Upload Your Roster.
- When your links arrive — confirm the teacher list is complete and matches your roster before distributing anything. See Teacher Links and Access.
- A few days before the window opens — your IT office sends the kickoff email to teachers. See Emailing Teachers.
- During the window — watch the completion dashboard and follow up with schools that are lagging. See Monitoring Completion.
Two weeks is from a complete file
The two-week setup estimate starts when we receive a roster file that passes validation. Missing teacher email addresses or inconsistent school names are the most common causes of delay, so it is worth checking those before you upload.
Running IE and EC Together
If your district is conducting both SRSS-IE and SRSS-EC, the two screenings are set up from separate roster files. Plan for both files to be ready at the same time so the two implementations stay on the same schedule.
Screening Frequency
SRSS-IE can be run up to three times per school year — Fall, Winter, and Spring. After the first implementation, subsequent windows are faster to set up because the roster structure is already established, though you will still need to send an updated roster to reflect enrollment and teacher assignment changes.
Getting Help
If any step slips or you are unsure whether you are on track, contact support before the window opens rather than after. See FAQ and Getting Support.
