Monitoring Completion

Overview

The teacher completion dashboard shows, in real time, how far along your screening window is. It is the single most useful tool you have during an open window, because it turns "are we done yet?" into a specific list of who to follow up with.

What the Dashboard Shows

• How many teachers have completed their assessments
• Which students each teacher has completed
• The scores recorded so far

Data updates as teachers submit. You do not need to wait for everyone to finish before looking.

How to Use It During a Window

Early in the window — look for teachers showing zero activity. A teacher at zero several days in usually did not receive their link or did not recognize the email, not that they are behind. That is an email problem, and it is fixable quickly.

Mid-window — build your reminder list from the dashboard rather than emailing all staff. See Emailing Teachers.

Late in the window — work building by building. Completion moves faster when a principal is asking than when a district-wide email is.

Reading Completion by School

Filtering by school tells you whether a gap is a district-wide communication problem or a single building. A district at 70% where one school sits at 15% is a very different situation from one where every school sits near 70% — the first is one phone call, the second means the kickoff email did not land.

Partial Completion

A teacher who has rated some but not all of their students shows as partially complete. This is normal mid-window; the tool saves progress and teachers frequently work through their list across several sittings. It is only a concern close to the deadline.

Opted-Out Students

Students opted out are counted as resolved, not outstanding. A building with an unusually high opt-out rate may be reading your district's opt-out guidance differently from the rest — worth a conversation before the window closes. See Handling Opt-Outs.
