Assessments / SRSS-IE
Portal Access and Provisioning
Overview
Before you can send us a roster, someone at your district needs access to the Standard Education portal at portal.standardeducation.com. This is the step immediately after your implementation timeline is set, and it is worth doing early — it is a common source of delay, because it is easy to assume it has already happened.
We provision access for you
There is no self-service signup. Standard Education creates accounts for your district staff. Send us the list of people who need access and we will provision them — you do not need to do anything in the portal first.
Who Needs an Account
| Role | Why they need access |
|---|---|
| Roster owner | Uploads the roster file through the File Uploader |
| District administrator | Reviews completion and scores dashboards |
| Building leaders | Monitor completion for their own school |
| Support contact | Opens requests from inside the portal |
In practice this is usually a small group — often the same two or three people who handle assessment coordination for the district. You can add more later.
Teachers do not need portal accounts
Teachers never log in to the Standard Education portal. They complete the SRSS through a private link sent to them by your district IT office. Do not request portal accounts for your teaching staff — requesting hundreds of unnecessary accounts is the most common mistake at this step. See Teacher Links and Access.
What to Send Us
For each person who needs access, send:
- Full name
- District email address
- Role or job title
- Which schools they should see, if their access should be limited to specific buildings
Send this to your Standard Education contact or to support@standardeduanalytics.com.
What the Portal Is For
Once provisioned, your staff use the portal to:
- Upload roster files through the File Uploader — see Prepare and Upload Your Roster
- View dashboards, including completion and scores once your screening window opens
- Open support requests without leaving the platform
Logging In the First Time
For the sign-in steps themselves, including what to do if a login fails, see Logging In. For a tour of what you will find once you are in, see Navigating the Portal.
Staff Changes
Tell us when someone who had access leaves the district or changes roles, and we will remove or adjust their account. Because the portal exposes student behavioral screening data, account cleanup is worth treating as part of your normal offboarding process rather than something to reconcile once a year.
Before You Move On
You are ready for the next step when at least one person can log in to the portal and see the File Uploader. If they can log in but do not see it, contact support before you try to send the roster another way.
